photographer help / North-Central NJ / less portraits, more candids

Hi there, 

I am looking for a great photographer in North/Central jersey. We are lesss interested in portraits and more interested in candid "of the moment" shots. Can anyone recommend someone? Of course, price is always a concern so something "reasonable" would be ideal (ha! what about weddings is reasonable?).

I got an email from Funico Studios and they some on par with what we are looking for. Anyone have experience with them?

    We are using Aesthete Studios out of Oakland, NJ.  Tom is great and his prices were very reasonable.  He does more candid shots. He has some stuff on his website but more in his Facebook page (which I assume you can find from his website...I didn't double check).  http://www.jerseyweddingphotography.com/

    It depends on what kind of pricing is "reasonable" to you, of course,   What's your budget?

    Take a look at Robert Wayne Photography (that's who we're using).  He produces some wonderful portraits, but he does an excellent job at the whole journalistic/candid thing. 

    We really liked what we saw of his reception photos, too.  We had a friend who was disappointed because their photographer took almost no photos of their guests.  I know someone else who's photographer really only shot only one side of the family because that's who was out on the dance floor and ingoring those who weren't.  I think Bob pays a lot of attention to this kind of thing.

    And we think he's very reasonably priced.

    My husband & I used Matt Rainey <a href="http://www.mattraineyweddings.com" rel="nofollow">www.mattraineyweddings.com</a> His work was fabulous & he was a great guy.  We ended up regretting not making cocktail hour 2 hours long so we could have spent more time with him?!!!
