  Try.....TRs in Williston Park by Train Station - they have a really nice private upstairs dining room. Also, George Washington Manor in Roslyn or there is  the Claremont Hotel right next door the resturant in there is called Cristina. Both lovely.
  In Mineola - if you are looking for casual - then Eleanor Rigby on Mineola Blvd or the steak place I forget the name on Jericho Turnpike near Waldbaums.

  PastaVino is also delicious! Its in Mineola, close to the train station, but not right on top of it.

  mp taverna in roslyn is delicious . they have a private room and an innovative menu we are using them for shower.

  I would second the person who said TR's, but I also have a soft spot for the Davenport Press. It's a really cool restaurant in Mineola near the train tracks and it has delish food and the decor inside is kinda fun. If you don't mind spending a bit more, I do happen to LOVE Riverbay in Williston Park on Willis Avenue. If you like seafood it is pretty phenomenal. I've lived in Williston Park my whole life so if you have any more questions about these or any other places feel free to message me! :-)
