Ceremony Musicians

Hi local girls! Anyone have any ideas for ceremony musicians in or around the Carlisle area? I have a meeting with the pastor of the church we're getting married in but it's not my home church so I feel awkward asking if the church organist is available. I'd appreciate any input!!

Check out music departments at local colleges. Most people will advise not to do this, but if you go and audition the kids, you might be surprised at the talent you find. Anf they're college kids, they'll do it for a reasonable price. That's how most of us music majors make side money

I'm having a violinist play at our ceremony - molly rahe.  She's also part of 2 other groups if you want more than just one violinist.  Just google molly rahe music.  I think she's based out of harrisburg.

Thank girls for the suggestions. I will look into all of them.

nhlgirl34- I have no qualms about checking out college talent. I played in my high school band and some of those kids were amazing at that level. Thanks!

Does anyone know how to get in contact with the college students?  I heard Messiah has a great music program and I wanted to look into finding ceremony musicians through them, but I dont know who to contact...
