  • I'm not sure what's on his list, but the bellagio conservatory is gorgeous, if you have a car Red Rock is beautiful too, one of my favorite places in town.  there's the Vegas sign, always a favorite for people, Freemont Street, also try the fried oreos or twinkies at Mermaids down there.  The Neon Boneyard Museum opens on Oct 27th.  Not sure how it will work as a museum now but still a cool thing, but I think that's best with a car as well.  Umm.. that's all I can think of..the out of towners could probably help more with touristy things

  • There's the shark reef at Mandalay that is supposed to be really nice, I've still never been though, we just never get there, the eiffel tower ride at night is really nice and you can watch the bellagio fountain show from there

  • Shows!!!  There are so many shows in Vegas that are awesome, some of my favorites are Mystere, Le Reve, and Absinthe. Try to catch one.

  • I love Fremont Street and the light shows at night ( I believe they are at the top of each hour).  VG has alot of great things on his site so make sure you check it out.

  • The shark reef is pretty awesome. It's a whole aquarium so there's more than just sharks. The dolphin habitat and large cat habitat at The Mirage is pretty cool too. They have a few baby dolphins that are beyond cute. Top of the Stratosphere is cool. There's a restaurant and bar. There's also some intense thrill rides on the top that not for the weak at heart. Every time I go to Vegas we just like to set out on foot, walk down the strip and see what pops up along the way. There is so much to do beyond gambling.
  • Yes but it incorporates a lot of movie quality special effects and make-up artistry. There's a webcam that will be viewable when it opens so you can get a better idea of what it's like/about.

  • My FI and I enjoyed taking goofy photos of each other at Madame Tussauds with the wax celebrities when we were in LV last.  We took a day bus tour out to the Grand Canyon too and, personally, I think it was the highlight of our trip.  Plus it was nice change to get off the strip for the day.  There are so many shows to choose from too!  There are a few restaurants on my must try list when we're go back in March too and I totally missed the outlet malls on my first visit but I hear they can be pretty great, if you love to shop at all.
  • Downtown is one of my fave places to visit in Las Vegas! Cheap gambling, plenty of weirdos, light show, so easy to walk from casino to casino, live music, gamble the old school way with your loose change!! Love it :)
  • I've really been wanting to do that jump off the side of the tower ride at the Stratosphere, I've done their other rides and those are fun, but pricey.

Married in Vegas - June 2011

  • we'll be able to tell you about Goretorium soon - it's opens on the 27th and my FI is having part of his bachelor party there that night :)
