I feel sooooo stupid!!! I bought my wedding gown five years ago...call me the runaway bride if you will (ok not really, but anyways...)

I JUST REALIZED that the bridal salon where I got my dress ORDERED THE WRONG ONE! I have tried it on multiple times, even had it altered....I have owned this dress for 5 years, granite, its been sitting in my parents closet the majority of the time, but its the WRONG ONE!

This was the one I wanted


And this is the one I got, it is wine though...so thats at least right...

       The gown in the first pic is my gown.  How is the gown you wanted different?  The 1st gown in front is similar in the front with the color around the bust.

    the first gown is my gown too, in royal blue and I agree....the front of the second one looks just like the front of mine...both are beautiful dresses.

    They are pretty similar the only difference is the train, the one i wanted is a solid color, while the one i have isn't, it just has the color along the edge and the middle is open with bead work.

    It is beautiful, but I just feel so dumb for just now noticing this lol

    And I altered it, so the tails are no longer there...now that I think about it, when I first tried it on I asked about the tails, saying I didn't see those in the picture... lol

    ok, i see the difference....I LOVE the train you have-stunning with all the bead work.  I understand you feeling silly, but the way I see it is there are so many emotions and excitement wrapped up in wedding planning that it's understandable!  =D

    Well it's great that you still love it, and a funny story you have to tell! I really like the back of your dress, and that you took the tails off! It's a more simple pop of color but still makes a statement like the other dress does! Funny that so many of you have this dress!

    Both dresses are lovely. I love the beadwork on the one you have! Don't feel bad for not noticing. When I went in to pick up my dress, it looked different than I had remembered, and I had looked at pictures of it throughout the 2 month wait! The mind can be a funny thing.
