I need ideas!!!We are having an early mid-morning ceremony with a brunch/lunch reception so we decided we were not going to have drinking.
Recently, I have learned that with the location we have chosen only allows the bride/groom 1st dance, and the dance with bride/dad, groom/mom dances. The guests won't be allowed to dance. Becaue he is military we don't have enough time to wait or put off the date; it's September 17th
So I need help thinking of ideas for something that will help fill the space of dancing and drinking (lol)
We have a modest budget so I'm trying to work within a lower budget.
Our guests are generally more of the family instead of younger friends; so I know that'll help a little but I don't want it to be boring

UGH I'm so scared it'll be boring! Please help!
Re: No Dancing, No Drinking! Please help!
I'm not so good with the advice... Can I interest you in a sarcastic comment?

I don't think you need activities; if you want to do something, perhaps a picture display people can look at, or an interesting guest book for them to look through and sign. Your reception won't last hours and hours without drinking & dancing, but your reception will still be pleasant and fun for the guests. Don't worry
