Too many ring bearers?

I have 4 nephews, all under the age of 7. (And no neices yet) I really want to incorporate them in my wedding somehow because I love them to death and they are the cutest little guys ever. Is it too much to have 4 ring bearers? Any ideas of how to incorporate them if that is too many?

    Well, it might be hard to have 4 ring bearers since there are only 2 rings.  But that doesn't mean they can't be in the wedding.   A friend of mine had several small boys in her wedding and they just put on the outfits and carried this long garland of flowers that they placed at the spot where the B&G would stand.  It was a garden wedding so it fit well and there wasn't an actual alter.  She didn't have programs so I have no idea what they were called.  It didn't matter they were cute and it worked out well.

    Typically, in the weddings I play as an organist,  little guy RB's don't carry the real rings anyway.  They are safely in the possession of the Best Man, MOH, or officiant.

    So while it's a lot of little boys, if you feel compelled to have them all actually in the WP, there's no reason not to.

    For my taste, I'd just have them as guests, and make sure I took an adorable picture of the little guys with the bride and groom.  But whatever floats your boat.

    Trying to corral 4 little kids in a wedding can be like herding cats and would be more than I would want--that's why our FGs were 9 1/2 and our RBs were 11 (2 sets of twins--cousins we're very close with).  I won't begrudge you having them if you want them, but realize that they won't likely feel left out if they aren't involved in the wedding.  It's more for you than for them.

    Also, IMHO-having 4 RBs is a bit excessive. Maybe have 2 of them be RBs, and have the other 2 do something else (i.e. usher, put wedding programs on each seat).

    My FI has three nephews, and we decided to have the older two (who will be almost 6 and 8 just after the wedding), be "program attendants" and the little one be the RB.  We're going to pair each of the older ones with an usher and hope that they will enjoy having a "big kid" job.  Still going to list them in the program as program attendants and get them little gifts and boutonniere so they feel like they're part of it.
