engagement party invitations

Our parents are throwing us an engagement party.  We have the invitations but I have been put in charge of addressing and mailing them out.  It's May 27th and the party is June 26th.  The hosts agreed that it was ok to print the addresses on labels.  Is it ok to print out addresses for an engagement party?  
What is the proper way to address these invitations?  Mr. and Mrs. So - So or Mr. John So - So and Mrs. John So - So?

    My engagement party is June 19th and we are mailing ours next week since calendars are already filling up for graduations, summer vacations, etc. We are printing address labels as well. Our labels will b printed as:

    Mr & Mrs So in So and family (we are including "and family" if there are children)

    I think Mr. John So in So and Mrs. is a bit too formal. That's just my opinion though. Go with your first choice, because that's probably the best one for you.
