We are planning our wedding for the end of the year and are starting to look for a photographer for engagement and wedding pics. Does anyone know any Spanish speaking photographers they'd recommend?  Any thoughts on working with male/female teams vs. just one main photographer and an assistant?

    Wish I had some advice, but I think it really depends on the chemistry you have with the photographer and if your styles mesh.  See if you can get a a free engagement session to see how it works out.

    I met with many and I didn't meet any spanish speaking photographers.

    I love my photographer and our engagement pics turned out great but he doesn't speak spanish. His name is Carlos Cardoso and he offers fantastic prices and is very personable. (Carlos Cardoso Photography).

    If you are determined to find a spanish-speaking photographer, an old coworker of mine used Manuela Stefan and her pics were amazing. http://www.manuelastefan.com/main.php

    Portuguese and Spanish are very different languages...just because Carlos is portuguese doesn't mean he can communicate in spanish...LOL

    However - if you are really adamant at having a spanish speaking photographer, I would recommend you contact Manuela Stefan and see about pricing. If she is out of your budget, she may know other photographers that speak SPANISH.

    Thank you for the recommendation and I will follow up with Manuela.  I think we will likely need to go with a Spanish speaking photographer if we can, as my partner doesn't speak much English and most of his family speak close to zero.  He can get by and I can translate if necessary but I'd rather give him a chance to fully particpate and enjoy the engagement and wedding sessions.

    Carlos isnt spanish but can understands it and can comunicate with spanish people!

    I'm portuguese myself and it isnt hard to understand a spanish person!

    If she needs a spanish speaking person as her photographer and can't find one why not try him out!  Email him and ask u never know

    Have you looked at TheRingBearer.ca??? They're pretty good! I have a friend who won their Win-A-Ring Contest --- $7000 ring anyone?!?!?!? 

    Anyways, I believe they screen the vendors they promote...found it in their wedding photographers and videographers at a reasonable price. You should check it out.
