  We really want to get our guest room in better shape and update some of our furiniture. For the last year, it's been a very slow work in progress. Now that I have the time, I may try to get some stuff done on it before the semester starts. Also we are hopefully going to IKEA in a couple of weeks so I will have a chance to figure out what I want to do and we can really hammer our a plan

  Deep clean the house for my parents' first visit since the wedding.  I'm totally back in that teenage mindset of, "Ohmygoodness, mom is going to get here and this is NOT 'mom clean.'"  

  And then we need to get the nursery emptied out (lots of boxes and random stuff in there from moving) and put together, but that's part of the reason mom and dad are coming out.  They'll be here next Friday!!!!!

  Next on the married TD list: redo our shed.  Rip off all the siding and the roof and just leave the studs, do some new electical wiring so it's more convenient and put up new siding!  That is our big project while H is home in August.

  we have some odd and end small projects around the house: hang new blinds in the kitchen and master bedroom; hang curtain in master bedroom.
