FL Liquor Liability Laws?

Hi everyone,

We will be having an outdoor reception in FL and plan to have bottled beer available in tubs, a couple bottles of wine on each table, and a frozen magarita machine. All drinks will be self-serve. We plan on having less than 50 guests.

Do you think we may run into a liability issue with this? I'm not familiar with FL's laws.

Personally, I would purchase liability insurance (you can buy it as a package deal with wedding insurance or separately).  Our venue actually required us to have liability insurance, and this is one of the reasons why.  Things happen... if someone got really drunk and injured themselves because of it, you could be sued.  Liability insurance should cover that.
