I was so excited to find a fantastic photographer from DC for our wedding next June, and we booked her a couple of months ago. She was traveling to Pittsburgh and was nice enough to offer to do a free engagement session for us, which was fantastic! That was the second week of July, and she said she'd have our engagement photos to us within 2 weeks. A couple of weeks later, she emailed to say she was really far behind, but would have them the next week. The last time I heard from her was the first week of August. She told me she'd had an emergency... She said she was okay, she was just behind in developing photos as a result, but she expected to have ours finished the following week. That was the last I've heard from her. I've emailed twice with no response, and she hasn't been posting pictures on her website or facebook page. The last time she posted was a whole month ago, and she normally posts at least once or twice per week. And she usually responds to emails pretty quickly. I'm getting worried that something terrible might have happened to her! What do you all think?? How long do you think I should wait to hear from her before I book a different photographer for the wedding? I'm afraid if I wait too long, all of the good affordable photographers might be booked already?
