Officiant for under $200?

Okay ladies you were all so much help durring my photographer search that I thought I would turn to you all again!!!  So we've got our ceremony location, reception venue, caterer, and photographer booked but we still don't have anyone to perform the actual ceremony!! Minor detail, right?!?!?!

Any suggestions for officiants that are under $200? We have a good idea of how we want the ceremony to go we just need someone to actually perform it. If RI's laws were different we would be perfectly happy to have a friend or family member do it, but that's not an option.

    We hired Dana Spencer, but she charges $375. I had a really good recommendation for her so we didnt shop around for prices. We have not had our wedding yet, but she seems to be really great!

    Try Lloyd Gariepy, he is a lawyer in Woonsocket and someone reccomended him here on this board before.  He doesn't have a website, his # is 401-762-0200.  When I called I only spoke with the secretary, but you can meet with I think, so just ask. I think he costs like $100 or $150.  GL!

    Todd Makinlaw $300 includes ceremony music.  If you also book his company sound waves for your DJ he only charges $150 to officiate... check out soundwaves webpage or email him at the theweddingsinger@verizon.net for more info.

    Hi -I HIGHLY recommend Steve Earle - maskerchugg@yahoo.com (maskerchugg is a Narragansett name for a river that runs through East Greenwich.  I thought the name was weird at first until he explained it.)
