  I didn't send any STD's out, but if I was it would've been 6 months prior to my date. If destination wedding, you can send them as far as 1 year out.

  Oh Ok.. Have you sent out your invitations?? I see the that your wedding is like 3months before mine..

  I sent my STDs out 10 months in advance because we had ~90% of guests from OOT and it was a holiday weekend.  If you don't expect a lot of OOT guests and it's just a normal weekend, I would say 4-6 months out.
  
  Invitations shouldn't go out until 12 weeks out, at the earliest.

  I'm in the process of selecting my invites now. I hope to send them out no later than 8 weeks prior to the date. My venue needs a headcount 2 weeks prior. Most of my guests are local.

  Ok.. See that is another reason I'm so stressed is because I have yet to find an venue that I really like.. Im praying on it so it should all come together..

  I think it was you that posted that venue question. Have you check pg parks website? I'm gettting married at Mt Airy Mansion (pg parks). Maybe you can check into hotels in the area as well. Depends on your style & budget. Hope that helps in some way.
