Dublin church?

Hi! I thought I posted this, but my phone says I didn't. Any suggestions for aa church in Dublin? My fiancé doesn't go to church (I haven't been in a long time but want to go back) and we live together, so that excludes us from meeting a lot of churches requirements. Any suggestions? The reception is at la scala.

    If neither of you attend a church, does the wedding have to be in a church? It might be easier to find a different location because some churches prefer to have weddings for congregants. Where did you used to go, and is there a reason it would be totally out? 

    In terms of churches, try St. Patrick's Episcopal. I'm getting married in the Episcopal church in Delaware, and they don't seem to care that my fiance and I live together. St. John's in Worthington also might work, it's not too far from La Scala. It might vary from church to church their policy on who can get married where. It's also a more traditional service, but it could be worth a shot.

    Unfortunately, you probably are going to have a hard time finding a church that will allow non-members and non-attenders to get married in their churches. They tend to want to marry their congregations.

    I'm actually looking for a church, so I figured I'd go wherever we decided to marry. I moved, so my church is too far away unfortunately. And though I don't go at this moment it is very important to me to get married in a church. Thanks for the reccomendations. I'll check those churches out!

    We are also have our reception at  La Scala and we are getting marreid at Dublin Community Church that is right in downtown Dublin. It is non denom, so that worked well for us. The pastor that I have talked to is super nice! It's on the higher side for price but I wanted to get married in a church and it was convenient to to La Scala which helps!

    Also there is a beautiful church in Powell its called Liberty Barn Church you may want to look into. I think when I mapquested it it was about 15 minutes away from La Scala. They didn't have my date available for a evening wedding!

    Liberty Barn is actually Liberty Presbyterian, it is North of Dublin.  http://www.libertybarnchurch.com/

    Indian Run United Methodist is a little bit NW of Dublin and they probably do non-denominational weddings.  http://indianrun.org/

    Scioto Ridge United Methodist is south of Dublin but on Dublin Rd and does non-denominational weddings .  It is VERY pretty, plenty of parking behind). This would be quick/easy access to La Scala.  http://www.srumc.org/ We belong to a different Methodist church but it's really close to our house so we often attend there.

    Northwest United Methodist would be about as far south of Dublin as Scioto Ridge but it is on the East side of the Scioto River and Scioto Ridge is on the West side.
    It would also be very easy/quick access to La Scala. It is on Riverside Drive.
