Inexpensive Rehearsal Dinner Location

Any one know of a great way and place to have an inexpensive but fun/nice rehearsal dinner in downtown Cincy?

Are you set on it being downtown? Or could you venture a bit further North, or even into Northern Kentucky?

If you don't have a ton of people, try City Cellars.  It's right downtown across from the Phoenix and they let you use their backroom and can bring in whatever food you want.  It's a wine store by day so all you have to do is get your alcohol from them and they charge a very nominal fee.  VERY nice to work with too.  Good luck!

Ditto NKY.  I'd suggest Molly Malone's for parties over 30.  It's in Covington just a stone's throw from the river so your guests would still have access to downtown Cincy.  They allow you to rent out an entire floor and you can select from a buffet menu.  I think we're coming in around $10-$12 a head and that includes soft drinks and coffee.

If you decided NKY is ok for you try Pompilios in Newport. A friend of mine had her rehearsal there and they wee on a pretty strict budget. It was very nice and very affordable.

also try Leaping Lizard - they will let you cater which can save $$.  We had a hell of a time figuring out a reasonable option b/c we had tons of out of town guests and didn't want to transport people.  We ended up doing something at our hotel - the Hilton Netherland (we had too many people for City Cellarz, but they were great too).  They were VERY willing to work within our budget.  We ended up doing a smaller rehearsal dinner and then inviting all guests to a dessert reception after, complete with Ohio State helmet cake that they let us bring in...Don't rule out your hotel as an option.

Try Arnold's, they have an upstairs for private parties or one of the bars on Main Street like MOTR or Neons. You would need to bring in outside catering at Neons. You can also try Washington Platform.
