Disappointed (mini vent)

Good morning ladies...
Okay, so last night I was attempting to work on my planning bio. I was working in the everything paper section and when I went to get a sample of my invite from Invitations by Dawn my invites DON'T EXIST ANYMORE!

I know I have 17 months until the wedding...I understand. However, these invites were perfect...didn't have to change color of the font or even the font in that matter. It was beautiful...the background was a map of Florida and you could see the Caribbean in it too where we would be honeymooning.
*Breathe*
So, now I'm back to square one. I requested a new catalog from them and am hoping I see something else (however I didn't when I was on the website).
I'm not a DIY gal (I try, but sometimes I get too hard on myself when things don't turn out) and was looking to stay right around (or even under) $500 for the invites including response cards. Does anyone know of any other sites that have great DW invites?
I'd appreciate it beause right now I'm bummed.

i would suggest to call their costomer service line. if u tell them that you wanted it so bad and it was perfect and your wedding will not be the same without those exact invite, they mimght be able to pull them back up for you. a lot of the time too with costomer service if you start crying they wanna help even more. just a thought.

JillianKrystal, I called them and they said that they'd be unable to do that. I even had a sample and all. If I could find someone to mimic it I would...but that'd be expensive too. Oh well...just have to believe that it wasn't meant to be.

oh man im sorry. maybe someone on etsy can help out? theres also a lot of ladies here that are extremely crazy talented on this page (im not one of them at all, i cant even cut a straight line) ...maybe someone can help here?

Does the sample you have include wording? If not, can't you just scan it and do your own, then send them off to be printed? Probably not the most ethical thing to do, though. lol

I've done invites before - if you want to email me maybe I can give it a try. It'll probably take a week or so, though, since I owe someone here a project that I need to get done first. chosen175 at aoldotcom.

Aww I'm so sorry to hear that they're not carrying your invites anymore. That really sucks

The sample I have does have wording on it...I thought about scanning it if it didn't have words!

I looked at magnetstreet.com and found some great ones there. Now it's just a matter of seeing what can still fit my theme.
Lisa, I'll drop you an e-mail...no hurries though as I'm not going to send my invites out for a few more months yet!
