I need Venue help please!!!

Hello!  I love to plan events but now that it's my wedding I am absolutely lost. We are looking for a venue close to town (we have a lot of out of town guests) and we have a very tight budget.  We are expecting about 120 guests.  We would love to stay under $3500-4000 for a venue and catering and bring our own alcohol.

Any help is greatly appreciated!!! Thank you!

Try the Mansell House in Alpharetta or Roswell River Landing.  If you're willing to look further outside the city there will be more options.  Hill Manor in Kennesaw would probably work but I visited the place and did not have a great impression.

Thank you for the advice.  We will look into those but we are hoping to find something a bit closer to town since we have so many guests traveling to Atlanta for the first time and staying in downtown area.

    Thank you!

We were looking for a similar situation - 130 guests, BYOB, low budget.  I wasn't able to find anything in Atlanta that was close to my budget where you can BYOB.  If you are doing an early reception and/or Fri/Sun date you *may* be able to find it, but for $4000 it's not likely

Trolley Barn may work.  I don't remember what their fees are, but you can bring your own catering and alcohol.  It's right near Decatur so I don't know if that's close enough for you.

I am getting married at the Wimbish House in Atl.. and they have BYOB and your own caterer... family friend or professional company, as long as they are licensed and insured..

Love the Wimbish house! Unfortunately they were booked for our date.  I hope you post pics after!  We are between two locations now, both BYOB.  The GA Tech Alumni house and a privately owned art gallery.  Thank you all for the help and suggestions!

The Mary Gay House in Decatur lets you bring your own alcohol.

Try Bradford's on Bishop - we loved it, but we haven't booked yet since we are still considering options.
