Have many of you had experience with eyelash extensions?

My future SIL has them and they look amazing! It makes me want to go out and get some....

We even went surfing in the ocean and hers stayed on just fine...

She said that they last 4 weeks but you NEED to trust who you go to... She said she's been going to the same person for the last 5 years but one time she had to go to someone else and the broad made her eye lashes fall out!

I would definitely look up reviews.

I got them on and i loved them. The problem is that the eyelash glue gunked really bad on one of my eyes and it made it impossible to get them off in that one little spot. I had to wait for 2 weeks for the oils on my body to loosen it up and it finally sloughed off.

Also when i did get them off, my natural lashed were super thin and frail and small. It was kind of funny, my mom had a good laugh. It took about 2 months for my naturals to grow back normal.

It lasts anywhere from 2-4 weeks and you have to get "fills".

i hated them.

they looked really nice at first, until they started to grow out, then they irritated my eyes, A LOT and became painful.

personally, ill stick to an eyelash curler and MAC mascara.

now that they have fallen out, my eyelashes are thinner and shorter than before... booo.

if you plan on keeping up with them, go for it.. for a one time thing (mine was for engagement pictures and potentially wedding) i would say just glue on some falsies.

Thanks for the feed back ladies.

I love my eyelashes, I just wanted more volume for pics. I think I will just use water proof mascara, and put on some falsies for the big day (I just hope I don't cry too much between pics!).
