Scared and Nervous

So my fiance and I our planning our own wedding, i.e. I'm searching for tables, linens, chairs, china, EVERYTHING. We're doing it ourselves without a planner. I feel absolutely lost and I'm getting really anxious and nervous because I feel this is an overwhelming task and im afraid it wont be nice. I dont know what to do and how to do it. Any help?

    you came to the right place, girl! just about all of us planned on our own and had a coordinator take the reigns for the day. as long as you stay organized and on-time you should be just fine. it's good to use the timeline that they provide here on the knot as a guideline. the one on martha stewart weddings is a little better though. good luck!

    Ask other family members or friends who are married how they did it. I'm pretty sure they will give you some advice. And if you have bridesmaids, make sure you ask them for help, even some emotional support will be nice. That is one of their tasks as bridemaids after all =)

    Did you already pick your venue? If not, ask them if chairs/linens/silverware comes included in the package price. Good luck sweetie!
