What are you getting for your wedding party?

I have so many different ideas of gifts for my wedding party but i don't know what to get.. I'm on a pretty tight budget. There are 6 total in our party. What are you getting for your wedding party?

I gave my ladies a mid priced good pen and customized stationery as well as a day of emergency kit. The guys got custom pub signs and a poker weight thingy. (I dont' play, can you tell?! *grin* DH was in charge of the guys' stuff.)

I would try to stay away from things that should come in sets that you give them one of (a single wine glass, a single mug, etc.) or anything that you imprint YOUR info on (don't put your wedding date on it or your names.) Also, I think it is sorta cruddy to give girls jewelry that you expect them to wear for the wedding. That isnt' really a gift if you expect it to be worn. If you want to give jewelry that they can wear for any occasion that doesn't relate to your wedding, that is totally fine.

Totally agree with the idea of shopping for them like it is their birthday. There is no reason to give the exact gift to each person if their personalities are different or they like different things.

I am doing this:

MOH - she's my sister, so I'm going to get her a coffee cup that has "sister" sayings on it!! I found it at Walmart.

BM 1 - SIL, probably going to get a Starbucks gift card (a small one)

BM 2 - friend from high school, not sure what her special part will be yet.. when I find it, I will know

Personal Attendant - good friend, wife of Best Man, probably a starbucks gift card for her too!!

My MOH and BMs will be getting jewelry to wear for the wedding (matching sets, which they all know about but agreed they liked it)!!

All 4 are getting cute bags from Walmart they can grocery shop with and use to carry their stuff the day of the wedding (reusable fashion bags), and in the bags will be: their individual gifts, jewelry (for the 3 bridesmaids), chapstick, lotion, kleenex, and a handwritten note telling them how much it means to me for them to be a part of this special day!!

Female Ushers - FI's little sisters, getting them gas cards!!

Groomsmen/Ushers - not sure what FI is thinking, probably individualized gift cards to stores we know they will love!!!

I got all the girls adorable mini purses fron a boutique at 50th and France. Each one is a different color that I picked according to each girl.

Still working on bridesmaids. My mom wants to get them tote bags - I'm still not sold on that. Will probably do jewelry for the wedding and maybe some sort of liquor.

Guys are getting top hats - because the 2 best men requested that we let them wear them for the wedding, so we'll buy them for all of them. Then, probably a flask with their initials, or a giant beer mug and a little bottle of Crown Royal.
