I am used to going to my parents. I am still adjusting to sharing the holidays.

    1. What is your favorite dish for Thanksgiving?  Probably the combination of turkey with cranberrys since it's the only time all year that I have it.
    2. Whose house will you be going to? Do you host Thanksgiving?  My sister always invites everyone to her house.  There will be 34 this year.  I host Thanksgiving Saturday for a non-turkey meal.
    3. Will you be doing any black Friday shopping?  I don't think there is anything I need to get up that early for.
    4. How soon after Thanksgiving will you put up Christmas decorations?  Probably Friday
    5. Any fun family traditions for Thanksgiving?  Sometimes we play frisbee golf.  Other than that, no.

    1. What is your favorite dish for Thanksgiving?
My favorite used to be turkey, but I'm a vegetarian now. So probably mashed potatoes, stuffing, and rolls. Although I loved those before too.

    2. Whose house will you be going to? Do you host Thanksgiving?
Uhm, probably no one's or just my mom's. Considering I'd usually go to my grandmother's house, but she's not speaking to me. Plus, the wedding is two days later. So I doubt we'll really do a whole lot.

    3. Will you be doing any black Friday shopping?
Possibly? I don't know if I'll have any money to though, after paying for all this stuff! Hahah.

    4. How soon after Thanksgiving will you put up Christmas decorations?
    Whenever we move.

    5. Any fun family traditions for Thanksgiving?
    Not really. =/

    2. Whose house will you be going to? Do you host Thanksgiving? We eat at my mom's house.

    3. Will you be doing any black Friday shopping? Yes!! It's one of my favorite days of the year.

    1. What is your favorite dish for Thanksgiving? I love it all, but I really love pie.  Especially apple.
    2. Whose house will you be going to? Do you host Thanksgiving? This year we are going to my grandpa's cottage, which is big enough for everyone (although there are less than 20 people this year).  I don't think everyone would fit in my tiny apartment....  I am in charge of the green bean casserole, and FI is making some sort of secret treat that he won't tell me what it is.
    3. Will you be doing any black Friday shopping? Yes, it's tradition in my family for all the ladies to go out for breakfast and then shopping.  It started as a way to even things up with my dad and uncles, who golf all summer and left the ladies with the kids.  I felt like such a grown-up the first year I was allowed to come with the ladies!
    4. How soon after Thanksgiving will you put up Christmas decorations? I think FI and I are decarating his apartment the Saturday after T-day, mine probably the next week.
    5. Any fun family traditions for Thanksgiving? The day after we all meet up at my aunt and uncle's house for pizza for dinner.  Not everyone makes it to Thanksgiving dinner since we have other family to go to, but the day after everyone (who is in the US) is there.

    3.  No black Friday shopping
    4.  the day after
    5.  This is my first thanksgiving away from my parents; and it's our first Thanksgiving married.....  I used to get up early and go to the gym on Thanksgiving morning and our family would go for a walk after Thanksgiving dinner.  But, I'm in a new city with new family so we are going to be making traditions together.....

    1. What is your favorite dish for Thanksgiving? Pumpkin pie! Stuffing is a close second...
    2. Whose house will you be going to? Do you host Thanksgiving? We (FI, FILs, and I) went to my parents house. I have yet to host a Thanksgiving, though my single sister has done it twice. Maybe this will be the year--I could host a vegan American Thanksgiving!
    3. Will you be doing any black Friday shopping? I think the Canadian equivalent of black Friday is Boxing Day, the day after Christmas. That's when people go out and buy themselves everything they didn't get for Christmas. :( I'm trying to avoid excessive consumerism.
    4. How soon after Thanksgiving will you put up Christmas decorations? Um...any time in November is fair game in my mind. However, I'm not doing any decorating here this year, because I'll be going home for Christmas. Next year, when FI and I have our own place, I'll do a little decorating!
    5. Any fun family traditions for Thanksgiving? Before anyone is allowed to eat, they have to write down a list of things they're thankful for. It used to be that you had to put one item for every year of your life (which resulted in adults being thankful for each of their teeth, and each screwdriver in their tool shop!), but this year we had so many people, we just had to write four things each. We usually follow up dinner with a walk around the lake by our house and some Dutch Blitz!

    1. What is your favorite dish for Thanksgiving? My grandma's stuffing recipe (it's got a pound of bacon in it!)
    2. Whose house will you be going to? Do you host Thanksgiving? H and I will be going to my parents house, and his family is traveling up for it too.
    3. Will you be doing any black Friday shopping? I usually do, but nothing crazy. There is no waking up at 3 a.m. for me, but I'm usually out of the house by 7-7:30.
    4. How soon after Thanksgiving will you put up Christmas decorations? We probably will start decorating Saturday and Sunday.
    5. Any fun family traditions for Thanksgiving? We always watch the dog show and football, but that's going to be hard this year because the Packers game and the dog show are on at the same time. I usually end up helping my mom most with dinner, which is always fun.

    1. What is your favorite dish for Thanksgiving? My dad's cranberry jello and fruit mold.
    2. Whose house will you be going to? Do you host Thanksgiving? My in-laws. I have hosted before in college, but not this year.
    3. Will you be doing any black Friday shopping? Nope. I tried it one year and lasted less than 20 minutes. I'd rather stay home and sleep in. :)
    4. How soon after Thanksgiving will you put up Christmas decorations? I don't know if we will. We don't really have much room. We might put lights up sometime after Thanksgiving.
    5. Any fun family traditions for Thanksgiving? Not in my family. I guess I'll learn about DH's this year. ;)
