Do you plan on returning to your destination location after the wedding?

We want to return to our destination location, but we feel like now when we return our trip won't live up to the amazing one with our friends/family/wedding/etc. There are also many other places we want to visit too... would you go back to the same location or pick someplace new? If you plan on returning to the same place, how soon?

Re: Do you plan on returning to your destination location after the wedding?

  • We will DEFINITELY be back - probably many times!  We fell in love with our destination long before we got engaged or decided to marry there.  We've been there 3 times in 3 years and I know it will be a place we visit many more times in the future.  Sure, we'll visit lots of other destinations as well, but something just draws us to the place we'll be married - it's hard to explain.

  • Oh yes! We will definitely go for sure!  We enjoyed ourselves sooo much with our friends and family, but we didn't get to spend anytime on the Island exploring.. just the two of us... so we are definitely going!!!
  • I *think* we will..but I don't know.  We had the most fun when everyone was there with us-and also now that we live on the west coast, it makes the trip about 8 hour flight, which might be JUST TOO long..

  • we'll definitely go back but i don't think it will be somewhere we go every year. there's so much to see in the world that i don't want to get locked into one place yet. i could be wrong though. aruba is supposedly the island with the most repeat visitors. i can't wait to find out why!

  • We don't have any concrete plans yet, but I am certain we will return to Hawaii at some point after we're married!  We've talked about going back for our first anniversary, and doing a little island hopping during that trip, rather than just staying on Maui (which is what we're doing for our wedding/honeymoon trip).
we got it right the second time around! ten.twenty.twenty-ten. Anniversary
