Record?

Guess what I got in the mail today. A returned wedding invite, for one of H's buddies. It had about 4 different addresses written on it by the time the post office gave up on tracking him down. I had to laugh. I told H and he said well he is spec ops so no wonder.

Which leads me to think... I wonder if this is a record for lost/rerouted wedding mail.
Thoughts? :D

Stan you have to be getting close to wedding invite time? right? I can't remember your date now :(

Hahaha that's great. I don't think we got anything returned yet. However for FI's friends that are deployed, we had to a word of mouth, email invite because there was really no set place to send mail to and their mail kept getting lost.

That is too funny! One of our STDs was sent back to us after a few months. It travelled to a few different states because my friend kept on moving!

One of my friends said that when she sent the RSVP back that it was returned, so I'm a little worried.

And my date is the end of August, so coming up soon!

Wow that's crazy.  We didn't get any wedding invites returned luckily.  Who knows about our STD's though because we did postcards with no return address on them.  I found out that my friend from Florida never got hers so who knows who else didn't.

My FSIL's (SIL in 2 days) shower invite was returned to my mom twice because they couldn't manage to tell me the right apt number to write.  I finally handed it to her, and then I also handed her the wedding invite as well.

    haha WOW! Contact Guinness ;)
We just sent out our invites this week! This definitely makes me a little nervous now  />_<, although we didn't get any STDs returned so that should be promising, right?
Will you be able to contact the person by phone to let him know?

    That's funny!
We got one STD returned, but that was my fault, I wrote the wrong street number.
We also got 1 invitations returned, but that was because the couple had moved. We ended up calling them and confirming their address, and resent it.

    Hopefully everything turns out okay!

Ours is more like a rosary, but can be a ribbon also. MOH and BM, place it on the shoulders of the bride and groom prior to the vows beign said. My aunt from Mexico brought it, so it could be used during our ceremony. <div>

Ooooh! Thats neat! I hadn't seen anything like that before :) I didn't mean to go off topic, but I saw the photo so many times I had to ask.

We had such a hard time keeping track of addresses from STD, to Invites to Thank Yous. Whew. So glad that logistics part is over.

I also put the wrong Zip Codes on our RSVPs (thank you dyslexia) that was also a nightmare. We didn't get a lot of them and had to call, email,  text a lot of people.

I'm struggling to get addresses!  People just don't respond.  Grr!  FI knows his job is to get the addresses for his side, but who knows how long that will take!  I'd like to send out STD's beginning of September so people have a full year to plan.  I know that's a lot, but people tend to make Labor Day Weekend plans far in advance!

Oh, ha, I just realized we're both September 2012! I'm thinking about getting STDs out at the same time but I haven't done a thing yet so it might be October-ish or so... we'll see. <div>
</div><div>I hope we don't have too much trouble with sending invites and such but now I know what to potentially anticipate! </div>
