I know some of you are off this week, but for all of us working this week, have a great weekend!!!!

We're suppossed to get snow up here hopefully nothing too crazy.  I'll be home all day anyway cleaning and putting Christmas decorations away :(

What's everyone's plans for this weekend?

    I'm at work today and I'm exhausted.  I didn't sleep well and my wrist has been killing me since Wednesday. I sprained it I guess but no memory of how.  It's on my right hand of course making it harder to do anything. :-(

    Ok whining over :-).  No plans for the weekend yet.  I need to put away some Christmas gifts and may be make some soup. It's supposed to snow here tomorrow too, I hope nothing too much, I'd to get out to dinner with the BF sometime this weekend.  I also got him Halo 4 that we might play and I got him this Zombie board game we played yesterday that is really fun.

    It's okay to whine!  I was like that a couple of weeks ago with my tooth.  I can't wait for that ordeal to be over with!  I hope your wrist is better, I guess lots of ice for a sprain? 

    I got BF Call of Duty for a stocking stuffer, he still hasn't played it.  I'm kind of interested to see what all the fuss is about with this game. 

    Board games sound like a good thing to do this weekend.  It's the calm before the New Year's Eve storm.  lol. 

    Also, thanks for saying something about putting gifts away, I have to do the same thing too!  When I bought my house I thought I had ALL THIS ROOM!!!  Now it feels like I have no room especially in the kitchen.  I need a professional organizer or something. 

    Are you working on New Years Eve too?

    I slept for ten hours last night and I'm still tired. This week has been hellish. We also work on New Year's Eve, but we're off on New Year's Day.

    Tomorrow, we're going to Tyler's extended family to celebrate Christmas, so I have to stop by the store tonight to get the stuff for making food for that. I also have to sing at the Christmas celebration, so I'm seriously dreading that. We don't have any plans for Sunday, but I'm hoping we'll go see Django Unchained.

    So happy it's Friday. I was off Mon/Tues/Wed, but Christmas was so exhausting that I still need a weekend to recover. I don't have any plans yet this weekend. We'll probably take Kaya to the dog park tomorrow or Sunday, and maybe we'll go out in the city tonight since it's been too long since we did that. I also really want to go to Trader Joes and stock up on yummy snacks and lunches for next week.

    I'm back at work, only day this week!  I have Monday and Tuesday off of next week though.  H has off Wednesday as well, so...  we'll see if I go in Wednesday or not.

    not too much planned this weekend.  tonight H and I are exchanging some gifts (wrong sizes) and getting dinner out somewhere.  tomorrow I need to do some grocery shopping, and we have our Spanish-speaking service at the church that evening.  I'm sure I'll do a lot of sleeping since I'm still feeling cruddy (stupid pneumonia!).  Monday night we are hosting a NYE chili party at our house, so I'll be doing a little cleaning.  thankfully the house itself isn't too bad, but I will need to vacuum, scrub the tile, clean the appliances, and get a huge pot of chili going. 

    tonight H and I are going to look for a couple games for me to play on our new PS3.  I'm excited!

    Hi girls-and yes, Happy Friday!

    It's been crazy here of late between work and kids and the holidays.  My children are driving me bonkers at the moment, too much winter break.  Ugh. 

    Danser-hope your wrist feels better soon.  I'm the Queen of Mysterious Injuries myself.

    I've been working yesterday and today too, but my kids have been home too, so it's not been easily done. 

    The kids get to spend the weekend with their dad, so FI and I are heading North to do what we call Skiboarding (he skis, I snowboard) and spend some time with my favorite Aunt.  I definitely need some time outside!

    In other news, I'm still completely ignoring wedding planning.  The other day I realized I'd done nothing, and I mean NOTHING towards planning the wedding since November, so I ordered a beautiful handmade headband on Etsy last night.  I figured, that's something, right? I'm trying not to freak out and keep telling myself I'll focus on it after the first of the year.

    Sorry about the delay.  I feel bad starting posts and then not participating lol.  I'm glad I'm not the only one working New Years Eve.  Hopefully I'll be able to leave a little bit early and get a mani/pedi.

    Also, whoever brought up Trader Joe's is evil.  I could spend a whole paycheck there.  Now that you have brought it up, I'll have to go!  LOL.

    Coco-I showed BF the soup recipe, he was all for it, so I'm going to make it Sunday and freeze half of the batch for another day.  Thanks again for the recipe!

    Also, I just had my interview.  I'm keeping my fingers crossed that I get one of the positions.  I'm leaning more towards a supervisor position but either position would technically be a promotion.  The manager liked that I was flexible and was the first manager ever that I interviewed with that told me I should be proud of my hard work for my Bachelor's degree.  In this organization it's not what you know but who you know.  I really appreciated that today.

    Happy Friday ladies!

    The only plans I have this weekend are to relax and see The Hobbit with BF. We were going to go the weekend before but, he was super sick so I think we'll go Sunday afternoon. I know I should go through my closet and purge some stuff I don't need so maybe I'll do that tomorrow morning.

    Danser - I hope your wrist feels better. I've head this awful headache on and off for the past 3 days so I feel like your pain. I hope you sleep well tonight!

    CoCo- Do you have any games in mind? BF's stepmom got him a new PS3 for Christmas and it came with the new Assasin's Creed but, I was looking to buy him another game. Do you have any recommendations?

    steign - we just got the PS3, never had a game station before.  I'm looking for exercise-y games.  we also like racing games, and he got a soccer (FIFA?) one from my brother at Christmas.  so, no recommendations, sorry.  I know nothing about the PS3 except how to turn it on and watch LOST on Netflix.  ;)

    There are so many good food options at Trader Joe's.  I like their wine selection too.

    Tonight I'm going to a friend's wedding reception. The whole thing is really weird since he isn't getting married until January 5th. I'm used to only being invited to the reception part of the celebration since most of my friends are LDS so I can't go to the ceremony because it's in the temple but usually the reception is at least on the same day as the ceremony.

    I have no plans for Saturday but I'll probably spend the day relaxing with my family.

    On Sunday I'll watch the Bronco game with my family and then go pick up BF at the airport (Yay!)

    I've been watching One Tree Hill on Netflix. Some friends of mine told me I'd really like it but I'm having trouble really getting into it.

    5 p.m. can't get here quick enough! I felt like the last 3 days have taken forever!

    It doesn't help that I've felt like crap since Wednesday. I'm guessing cold/sinus stuff. It's mainly my throat and a weak cough. I'm hoping to rest up lots this weekend!

    I work till 1 p.m. on NYE, so add me to the list. So frustrating.

    We might go to the movies as well sometime this weekend or NYE to see Lincoln.

    I hope we don't get too much snow tomorrow. I work in the morning.

    I loved Lost until the ending. I was pretty disappointed with how the show ended, they left so many things unanswered. I know you couldn't answer anything with a show like that though.. but still it was frustrating.

    I keep staring at the clock which isn't helping 4 get here any sooner...

    Which season are you on? I think around the middle of the second season is when I finally started enjoying it. The first 5-6 episodes I thought were pretty boring.

    Trader Joe's doesn't sell wine at the store near my house :(

    I just heard the weather we are supposed to get a lot more snow than originally predicted (~4-8") I was going to go to the store tomorrow to get stuff to make soup, looks like I'm going tonight with all the crazy milk and bread people!

    We've done the same thing, but we've also watched or rewatched all of Black Books, Blackadder, Futurama, South Park... now we're watching The Office and Bridezillas (he's enjoying the latter too). We also got all of Harvey Birdman, Attorney at Law on DVD for Christmas, so we've been watching that like champs.

    Happy Friday!

     

    I am slightly panicking because I only have about a week and three days till school starts again and so much stuff left to do.  

    Today is going to be busy.  We are going to DMV, UPS and Joanann's (a fabric store).  I am going to reupholster my chair covers.  And ideas on colors?  I am thinking something neutral but my heart wants blue or a deep red lol.   

    Sunday we are having dinner with my BFF which I am happy about but other than that no plans.
