    so my mom always sends me and easter care package with lots of candy in it and cute decorations on the outside. This year (today) when she went to mail it at the post office the lady working behind the counter says "what we do for our grandbabies." My mom called me freaking out asking if she looked that old and said she had never been so insulted! haha my mom looks much younger than she is but is def old enough to have grand children. I couldn't help but laugh at her!

    Dyeing easter eggs with the kiddos in the family.  This tradition has kind of stopped as my cousins don't so much "like" it anymore, but by next year, it will be something fun to do with my nephew!

    Those of Armenian heritage may know...
    each person has a hard boiled egg (decorated of course), you hold it tightly in your hand with one end poking out the top (hand turned on its side, thumb facing up). The person next to you gets to try to crack your egg by banging their egg on your exposed end. The person with the most un-cracked ends wins!
    Unfortunatelyy, at this point you have way too many cracked eggs and have to make egg salad. But its good clean family fun!

    Well, I don't do it anymore, but when my brother and I were growing up we would dye eggs.  The last egg we would dip in all the different colors and it would be the rotten egg.  It had no real significance other than it was a family tradition!  Good times! :)

    Making Easter crafts with my students...lucky for me since I teach young children I never have to grow up!!! lol! I am lame and have no idea what happens when you microwave a peep...also...haven't tried a PB Cadbury egg!!!! My fave candy are those hard shell solid chocolate pastel egg candies....I think they are made by Cadbury too....YUM!!!
