So in the last 16 hours we have lost an usher and a vocalist! The usher is no big deal. The vocalist was singing a duet with someone during the unity candle lighting!!! I was just double checking with my musicians before I start printing/assembling the programs. Guess she wasn't going to tell me or her duet partner that she wasn't coming! Sad thing is this was one of my best friends and now I guess she's not going to even bother coming to my wedding.

    She didn't give a reason, but I have a feeling it's because this is my second marriage and her husband is a pastor. Some pastors in my denomination will not marry divorcees. I'm trying not to dwell on it. The other singer is going to just do a solo. The original song is only a duet. Fi & I will have to settle on a different song. I know there are worse things that could go wrong.
