EEEEK! I just saw one of my friends, who moved to Canada last year, post on another friend's Facebook about wanting to book her plane ticket tomorrow night. AHHHH it's really coming! It's really going to be here soon and everyone else is making plans too!!! We haven't even sent out invites yet lol Once my addressed envelopes get here, probably sometime next week, they will be in the mail!

I was told by the mutual friend she that this friend is actually going to be flying in a week early to Chicago for my bachelorette party, although she was not sure if she was supposed to tell me lol so I plan to act surprised...which won't be too hard with the excitement I will have seeing her!

Ok, that's the first time it's hit me in a while lol What's making it real for you?

When one of my good friends actually called me to tell me she found the perfect dress to wear to my wedding! All I could think was "OMG it's literally almost here"...

My mom told me like 3 weeks ago that a good family friend (he's like 65) told my parents that he bought a new suit for the wedding. Goo!! I thought that was sooo cute!

And yes like you, Owenggirl, 2 of my good friends (one in Mexico and the other in Switzerland) have already bought their tickets! It'll be here in a blink of an eye, girls!!

YAY! I think it helps when you see everyone else starting to get ready for your big day, too. It's like, it's not just me planning and thinking about it, it's guests too!

I'm soooo excited to see everyone together! I almost wish the day could last longer just so I'd get to spend more time with them all!

Yes, exactly! Everyone else getting ready makes it so much more real because it's not just you and FI anymore. It's all of your loved ones.

It makes it more exciting when you here how other ppl are getting ready for your big day, and how excitedthey are to get together and share some time with friends and family. Getting all of the addresses together for the invites put in perspective for me. My reception is 4 hours

It totally hit me today. We got a gift a few days ago in the mail from an unknown person for our shower. Also I looked at our registries today and everything is almost gone!! I have a surprise shower but am almost positive it is next Saturday! I think that put it all in perspective for me.

<div>We can be there, I think, until 11...and the ceremony is outside (same location) at 5:30, so I'm thinking it will end up being about 4-4 1/2 hours. I really didn't want to go much longer since most people seem to leave after 3-4 hours, or sooner if they have little ones. My cousin had her ceremony in the afternoon...at 3:30? I think and 90% of the people left the reception by 9 or 9:30, and they were supposed to have a send off at 11pm...way too long when everything is at the same venue!</div><div>

I was doing ok until i started reading all of these. Seeing everyones tickers at the bottom and going oh my gosh it's really coming. I'm getting married for like ever. You girls are all on the same page with everything so i think it's making me nervous when i see someone "ahead" of me as far as planning and stuff. My invites go out this week too so i'm really getting anxious now. That's the point of no return for me i think.
