NWR: Traumatic fur baby afternoon

My mom is in town for the wedding and it's hot so FI and I took her and our dog Titan down to the beach. Came home and my mom and I went to the store and to grab a drink. Within five minutes of getting home, Titan's entire face swelled up and was covered (and I mean just about every square inch was covered) in hives.

We frantically called the vet and rushed him in. They think he must have been stung by something and was having a severe allergic reaction. He had to get a shot of benadryl, a shot of a steroid, and a shot of epinephrin. The swelling started going down in the first 15 minutes but it took about an hour for his face to look normal. But then he was tweaking out from all of the meds in his body and wouldn't sit still for more than 30 seconds.

He is doing better and finally passed out but it has been a very long hot night. Glad he is doing better and everything worked out!
