I am also in the midst of securing ANL for the DJ and getting ready to order invites.  What should be my next plan of action?

    once the invitations went out i had a gap where really there wasn't much to do until i got final rsvps in, until the dress came in etc. You may be at a waiting period :)

    Do you have the songs picked out?
    Cake?
    Doing any additional venue decorations for the table etc?

    All things I need to do! Perhaps I am just getting a bit anxious? Anxiety at 6 months out?!? I am in trouble.

    You could look into where you want to honeymoon.
    Bridesmaids gifts/mother-in-law gifts and parent gifts.
    Any DIY projects you want to put on the tables.
    Look into songs you want and or if you want to do unity candles and the sand thing.
    But for 6 months out your kickin butt :)

    Depends on the resort, just like airfare; some go way out, others (Southwest for example) will rarely touch the six month mark.
