Aw!!! Glad there were no tears (from her anyways ). My son started an early learner program (he's 3 and not old enough for preschool and I stay home so no daycare needed) and he LOVES 'school'. I'm hoping it sticks:)
She is 2 1/2 but they call it preschool since she goes two days a week. I am used to taking her to mom's while I work but her being by herself made me a little hesitant.

I get it! :) I take my DS to the learning thing so he can be around other kids and learn that there are other authority figures other than mom and dad :)
Such a cutie! I had a rough day when my dd started half day preschool and I bawled all the way home. Now that she's in fully day kindergarten, I couldn't wait to take her back so I could enjoy a full day of quiet! lol
I promise, it gets easier! *HUG*

Awe thanks! I managed to wait til I got to the car but then I cried the entire way to work. Thankfully my mom will take her most of the time.
This year, I was super excited for the first day. Seven glorious hours all to myself! I swore I wasn't going to cry, and dd was super excited - which made it a lot easier. And I was fine all through her going into the building, but then I bumped into the principal, who was handing out printed copies of a poem about sending your baby off to school for the first time and I lost it on the way to the car as I was reading. Stupid principal! Lol

Awww. My 3 year old niece started preschool but she's been a mess, crying for my sister for the first ten minutes every day. She told me she liked school, though, when I asked her. She needs speech therapy so it's really good for her to go.
