My colors are white and gold, but I have dark brown bridesmaids dresses because I didn't like gold dresses. My engagement ring and jewelry are white gold. What color jewelry should my bridesmaids wear? White of Gold? My sister says white gold to match me, but says I need to get rid of anything else thats gold because it won't match.....but Im not having a white and brown wedding!! Help!

Both will look fine, they do not have to match you, and they don't have to match each other. I think each BM should pick the color they like better.

I look awful in gold, my mom looks weird in white gold. Let them pick the color.

Yeah, doesn't matter. I couldn't even tell you at gunpoint what my own bridesmaids wore, and my wedding was less than a month ago.

To paraphrase the amazing Mel, no one goes out and says, "Oh, that girl in yellow gold jewelry is sitting next to a girl wearing white gold. Let us judge them. Harshly." Accessories don't work that way.

Presumably your bridesmaids are not the sole source of color in your wedding, so you really don't need to stress over a detail that is literally too small for most people to see.

I think that yellow gold would go better, and follow your color scheme. It'll also let you stand out and sparkle a little more

Side story, I wear 2 rings and a necklace that are yellow gold and FI gave me a white gold E-ring. I was like ...thanks for keeping me matching. Haha!

Let your bridesmaids choose their own jewerly unless you plan on getting them something as a gift to wear for the wedding. Judging by the colors of your BM's dresses, yellow gold would go better. But there is also a lot of 2 tone jewerly out there you could look at so it is a mix of both.

Nobody cares.

I wore silver-toned jewelry, my BM wore a diamond necklace and my MOH wore faux pearls. I'm pretty certain nobody gave a flying squirrel about it.

There is zero need for every. single. thing. in your wedding to perfectly match. People are there to watch you get married and then celebrate afterward, not critique every tiny detail and then scream in horror if things aren't exactly the same.

Let your BM wear whatever jewelry they want to. They're not an army of your clones, its nice for them to wear something representing their personalities.

Thank you. 2 BM look good in white gold, the other likes gold.....but they are said they would wear whatever, but my sister sells jewelry....and said they all need to match in their necklaces and that Im to buy them for thier present. And now I have to buy it from her......grrr. I know Im worrying over this more than I should, but my sister stressed me out about it being a big deal. I will probably pick white gold since most of them like it better. Now, should they have simple necklaces because mine will be simple, or can they have bigger pendant type?

Um, no, you are not required to buy them jewelry (unless YOU are the one demanding that they wear something specific). Your BMs were wrong to tell you that you must buy them their jewelry.

If you don't want to buy them jewelry, just tell them to wear whatever they want. If the decide on their own to match, then tell them to get together and figure it out on their own and get their own stuff.

Their jewelry only needs to coordinate with their own outfits. They don't have to mirror everything that you are wearing yourself.

People will not notice their jewlery. Don't overthink this. Buy them something if you want, or else tell them it's up to them.
