I put a deposit down on our reception space! It's OFFICIAL...now I can breathe

I also typed up a first draft guest list I asked my mom and grandma to come up witth people)...it's at 90! Remember I said I wanted a max of 40 peoplle? That's not happening...

I still need to speak with my dad, ugh! I'm hoping some people can't come lol

Yayy for the checks !!

You only wanted 40 ppl from your side of the family and they gave you 90 ?! and you still have to ask dad ?

What about FI side ?

Now you wanted 40 total or 40 for your side? If you wanted 40 total, is that inclusive of Bridal Party or are you having a BP?

if you want 40, you need to do percentages based off who is putting up money. LOL. Sad but true. I mean really its like u get 10, FI gets 10, your parents get 10 and his ppl get 10. Make it good. Have fun with that. I wanted 150 (really 130) and we are at 210.....

Great check! I said I was going to have something small myself about 100 people but my family alone put me at 90 not to mentioned my friends and his family and friends. So we reserved for 150. Our guest list is currently at 127 and still waiting for his moms list.

MrsBad13. MrsSmith2Be02 , I wanted 40 total! The 90 includes my side and some of FI's side. He still needs to speak with his dad...so more names may be coming *sigh* His side is smaller than mine.

nbrown501 , Girl It's mostly my side (fam and close friends). His side takes up like 10 people.

I didn't even ask FI's mom. Should I? or Should I leave it to him?

One of you need to. Doesn't matter who, but somebody needs to. Then what you need to do is prioritzie the list literally by person. Its hard, but it you really want to keep at a specific number it has to be done. I sent my first batch of invites out Sept 6th or so with a Oct 1st RSVP date. I have Oct 17th ones that have come and gone and now im waiting on Nov. 1st. Come next friday I should be DONE!

CONGRATS ON YOUR CHECK... The way we helped to keep our numbers down is to have it away... So we are hoping for around 40... everyone wants to go to VEGAS... right..lol
