Ceremony Music.

How long do I make the music for the ceremony last? From seating guests to bride walking down the isle. I'm trying to make a list for it but not sure how many songs/how long to make it. Please help!

I'm guessing you don't have a DJ or live musicians? If not, make a list of like 10 songs and play it in a loop. That probably buys you at least 30 minutes. Do you have someone keeping an eye on it to stop the music when you're ready to start?

One thing I've learned about playing for weddings over the years is plan for MORE music than you think you need.  It's pretty common for weddings to start late for a variety of reasons.  Since guests start to arrive at least 30 minutes ahead, plan for a good 45 minutes of prelude music.  Even if you have it to loop after 45 minutes, chances are very few of your guests will notice the repeat.

    Hope that helps!
