We're working on a wedding website that will include information for our guests such as the hotels we're reserving for them (in our culture, we pay for hotels and transportation for all guests), the menu (in case someone has allegies or strong dislikes), etc. We won't include anything to do with registries since that's not a cultural practice that we have (people usually just bring w/e they like or cash gifts).
That being said, we were wondering if we should link it to our facebook accounts. Most of the people that are attending are our fb friends, and it may be easier to get that info across than other ways (it's too late to put it on our invites). So convenience is a factor, but I'm worried the etiquette.
The problem I'm considering is people that aren't invited. I don't want to rub it in their face or create expectations (invites have not gone out yet, but we have ordered them and received them, and have committed to a venue that we're almost at capacity with).
What do you think?
