Canning Jars Needed!

Hi - 

We are using canning cars as glasses at our wedding. Does anyone have a few I could buy or borrow :) !

    Look on craigslist, as they have some sometimes. I know meijer has them on sale this week if you can budget for that (you can always resell them, too). Otherwise, ask people you know that may do canning if you can borrow some until the wedding :) Good luck!

    I have been asking friends to save glass jars (like from tomatoe sauce, peanut butter etc.) rather than recycle/throw them out. I don't know if you are going for a unified size, or how long until your wedding, but this has been working great for me. I have jars coming in left and right!

    I currently have 3 apple crates full of the quart-sized blue glass ball jars sitting outside of my mother's barn. We plan on using them next June for my wedding, but if you want to borrow them for a date this year, I bet we could arrange something. There's also a few of the bigger ones in the same color that I was going to use for my head table to put our bouquets in. Let me know if you're interested!
