Happy Harry Potter Friday!

And yes, I am naming today Harry Potter Friday. I feel that it's appropriate.

So last night I was very torn on whether to see the movie or not. It was one of our last nights living on the South Side (we move everything tomorrow to the new place near Regent Square), and I could have easily walked the two blocks to the South Side Works Cinema. Sigh... But I had to work at 7:30 this morning and I wanted to go and enjoy the movie without worrying about being exhausted for work. Not to mention I would be going by myself and walking back to the apartment at 3 AM alone. It's only 2 to 3 blocks but there have been several police incidents a block away from South Side Works sooo... yeah. I stayed home.

So this weekend is moving weekend and the FMIL in coming up with a truck load of our stuff from Louisville. Since she is in town I can't just run off to see Harry Potter (or go to the GTG, so sad...) but I'll prob head out tonight at 10:30 to see it as she is going to bed.

I am excited she is coming in town though. We could definitely use the help of getting stuff organized at the new place (which I am so excited for!) and she wants me to take her to Ikea. I love Ikea, and as she is never been, I am thrilled to introduce her to the exciting wonderland that is the Ikea store.

Overall, this is looking to be a good weekend :-)

What is everyone else up to this weekend?

    happy friday!

I'm finishing my move this morning if FI ever gets out of bed.  I saw HP at 7pm last night - I wont spoil it for anyone, but it was good and bad.  I'm so sad it's all over!

It's going to be perfect weather in boston, so I think tomorrow we will do some beach time or kayaking or something.  We'll see!

sari - good luck with the move.  Go watch HP so we can chat about it!

Hey there ladies!!!  I have never gotten into Harry Potter...I hope you won't hold it against me...lol.  This weekend will be a lot of just trying to get things done around the house and also getting back on track.  This week has been an awful week as far as eating.
At lunch today, my friend and I are going to try on my dress with my veil and jewelry to see how it looks.   I hope it all works together.

I hope everyone has a great weekend!

Sar- How are your legs healing?  Enjoy the movie!
MD- Have fun this weekend!  I love great weather weekend...such a mood booster.

Pittsburgh September Siggy - Our honeymoon will be at the Royal Suites Turquesas in P*nta Cana. Super excited!

Sorry Janice I think we posted at the same time!

The knees are doing great! I am still afraid to try and run just yet, but they no longer hurt me, which is awesome. I'll wait a few more weeks before I hit the pavement again, and I'll be taking it much slower this time. Good luck with your dress today and be sure to take some pictures if you can. I'm sure it will fit great no matter what you ate this week!

    Happy Friday Everyone!

No major plans for this weekend, on call at the hospital. Probably cleaning and just hanging around the house. My dad is coming out to go for a bike ride on Sunday. I tried to work on a "thank you" banner last night, but it didn't go so well... didn't have the right stuff. I can return a lot of it, but wondering if maybe I should just order off Etsy. That's the thing with DIY - it's fun and I like to do it but you have to be careful the supplies don't cost more than just buying the item already made.

Janice - I also never got into Harry Potter. Everyone has off weeks with eating and excercise, just start everyday fresh instead of lumping them all together as bad days.

Sara - I didn't know you were moving again! I hope everything goes smoothly. Regent Square is a really nice, fun area. Make sure to try Square Cafe - my favorite breakfast place!

md - It's always sad when series end! I was actually a little depressed when e.r. ended.
