Hey ladies, just thought I'd pass along a great deal! The lady who does my hair straightening is giving an awesome deal to any client referrals, $100 for keratin straightening. She will come to your house (or you can go to hers, I usually do) & does my hair & always does a great job. Figured I'd throw it out there if anyone's interested since every salon I checked was about $300 + for the exact same thing. :) PM me if you want her info

    Hey, that's a good deal. But I am confused about those treatments. I have naturally curly hair (spiral curls), and I really don't want to lose my curl. Is the keratin treatment supposed to relax your hair? I thought it was just a protein that bonds to the strands and keeps it from breaking. Any more info would be great.

    It definitely totally straightens it, at least at first. After about 6 weeks I usually have to flat iron it still but just because I get some small waves back which probably wouldn't bother anyone but me ;) lol. But it takes literally a minute compared to 30 which is what it takes when my hair is totally natural. It also makes the frizzies totally go away whichI love cause I have the frizziest hair on the planet! I honestly don't know the SPECIFIC details, it supposedly chemical free which I don't know that I buy because it really has a chemical smell but it certainly has not damaged my hair, it makes it MUCH healthier/shinier. If you don't want it straight, then it's not for you. Your hair does go back to normal though. I went like 6 months without having it done and by like the 6th month my hair was back to totally curly again. It usually lasts about 3 1/2-4 months.
