Hampton Roads Venues!!!

Hello Ladies!!!! Congrats to all!!!! I live in the Hampton Roads area and I am looking at several venues. Williamsburg Lodge, Virginia Beach Convention Center, Sheraton Norfolk Waterside and the Westin Hotel Town Center in Virginia Beach. Would like to know if anyone has been to an event at any of these venues or heard the good, bad, and the ugly about them. Also, if anyone has any ideas of other venues that are nice and not to overpriced. We are not spending more than 2,000 on a venue site.

Thanks ladies!!!!

Out of those, the Sherton is one of the best especially at night because you have the river to look over when the sun sets. Anywhere in Williamsburg is nice, I've thought about having mine at the Williamsburg Winery, but I got worried about expensive lodging for all the guests. Good Luck!

My wedding will be at the Sheraton.

The rooms are amazing and they are sooo accommodating. Every time I ask a question they're knocking a price down for me. The only thing I have to say negatively is that my coordinator is TERRIBLE at answering my emails. I usually have to call her and remind her of something I've asked about. However, I'm really happy with our choice so far.

Oh.  and one more thing.... the parking kinda stinks. They have a garage or valet, and no other options. Either way, your guests will have to pay for parking.

I'm having my wedding at the Hilton Virginia Beach Oceanfront.. have you checked them out? There isn't a venue fee.. just a food and beverage minimum. :)

I am a huge fan of the Water Table in Virginia Beah.. They are $2500 but well worth it.

The Mariner's Museum in Newport News is actually really nice on the inside. They have some really nice outdoor spaces and I believe the rental fee includes tables and chairs for up to 300
