Check out our Save the Date picture

I posted the other day about winning our Save the Date cards. We had to have our info and a picture ready yesterday. We aren't doing our engagement photos until the summer or fall. The designer offered to do a card without a picture, but I wanted a picture card.

I asked a friend to take a few pictures, but she didn't share my vision (she thought my idea was dumb...I think it's fun and quirky and apparently the designer did, too because she was cool with giving me another day). So, after work today, I propped my camera up on a stool and tried to take the picture again. A neighbor walking by offered to snap a few shots and it worked out perfectly.

Ready? Here's our picture...I *think* I'm going to make it black and white.

(it's fuzzy because I pulled it larger...why is The Knot so lame with photos?)

The photo didn't come out on my work computer. It showed it, but it cuts off right below your dog's head. It could just be my stupid computer. I am pretty sure you didn't take it that way. Cute shoes though!

Not that this is your card (obviously by the date), but just FYI, please remove/block your full name from things before posting for security reasons. I know some of us are close, but you never know who else is out there that may be creeps.

That is soooo cute. I love it in B & W.

Even if your photographer friend didn't like the idea, why didn't they just snap a few of these shots to make you happy? Sounds silly to me. Glad you were able to get it in the end anyway.
