Thanks so much ladies! I just want to show other knotties that it was very easy to do, I did about one per night while watching TV, drinking wine, and singing off my fingerprints with the hot glue gun...never used one before and MAN should they come with a warning label!
MARCH SIGGY CHALLENGE (for April 2013 brides): Bridesmaid dresses
I got a great price on the calla lilies because they are actually sold in a bundle of 4 held together with florist tape that I separated and re-arranged with the white wisteria. If you are willing to be flexible, I would recommend the white calla lilies and dark purple tulips....I've seen tulips in a lot more colors than the calla lilies

I was able to find MOST of what I needed in stores but I ended up ordering the pink calla lilies I am using for my bouquet online and was impressed with the quality as well

I used JoAnne Fabrics for the pink calla lilies, they had the white calla lilies and the wisteria in the store but I could only find the pink online. Fast shipping and they came nicely packaged.

Wow they came out great! Now I kind of want to attempt it lol. Maybe I'll have my mom go with me to Hobby Lobby and try and convince her to help me out haha!
I'm telling ya, it was SO easy! And I like the idea that it's one less thing to worry about on the Day Of....
To make the wraps I started by securing the end of the pink ribbon with hot glue and then wrapped really tightly while rotating hte bouquet so the ribbon would wrap evenly and smoothly. Then I hot glued the pink ribbon to secure it and let it set for a few minutes....about the length of time to go to the bathroom and get a refill on my wine
To do the contrast ribbon (I chose a cream ribbon with black fleur de lis) you find the center of the ribbon you are using and hot glue it to the top back of the first wribbon wrap. then crisscross your ribbon accross the stems and twist in the front to create the knot. Keep going, twisting in the back and then bringing to the front until you get to the bottom. Then glue the two ribbon ends to the back and tuck them in as neatly as you can.
Next just finish the bouquet by sticking the pearl corsage pins through each knot (point DOWN into the stems, not straight through like I did at first...lost some blood) and YOU'RE DONE.
Good luck!
