Rehearsal Dinner Venue in Poughkeepise, near VC

Good Evening Ladies!

This might have already been discussed but do you have any good recommendations for a rehearsal dinner restaurant in Poughkeepsie, near Vassar College?   Since my rehearsal will be at the VC chapel, I thought it'd be fun to just walk or take an easy drive to a nearby restaurant.  I'm expecting 20-25 at the dinner.

    Try Cosimo's (http://www.cosimospoughkeepsie.com). It's probably 10 minutes from Vassar, but they have a really nice private room and were very budget friendly.

    The Dutch is really close by. Delicious southwestern type food. We had ours at the Milanese (Italian food)...maybe 10 minutes away. Cosimo's is a good one, too. Shadows or Riverstation.

    Why not check out the BeechTree....it's within walking distance of VC, it's right on Collegeview by the Juliet.  Not to mention the fact that its intimate.  Your 25 guests may take up the whole place.

    Thanks again!  Lots of great options.  I did originally try Beechtree. They were very nice but said they couldn't accomodate 25.  However,  I am actually considering Babycakes Cafe.  I no longer live in the area but I heard from friends that they've expanded and now do dinners as well. They don't have a private room but said they could partition off a section of the dining room. 

    Cosimos might be a good, overall  crowd pleaser though.   I do like their food quite a bit.

    I second Amicis! Their food is amazing! Cosimos is great too and you could definitely walk there after the rehearsal.

    I heard baby cakes restaurant was really delicious. Its right across the street from Vassar College. Maybe you can call them and see if they can have a special section dedicated to your rehearsal dinner.

    Also try Cappuchino's on route 9.  Great packages and private rooms
