Where did you book your...

VENUE??? And why did you choose that venue?

Just wondering where you all have picked to have your wonderful, memerable wedding!  Mine is going to be at Benvenuto. We chose it because FI didn't want a country club or hotel feel.  And I think it's absolutely beautiful inside and out, the food is also amazing and the packages are great as well!

Acqualina! I wanted to get married overlooking the beach! It had the best view and the best reception space for us, we are tenting an outdoor space. We kept seeing great views and bad ballrooms or great ballrooms and ok views. Acqualina had both for us! They also did not have a minimum, which was huge!

Excellent choice Gab...I love Benvenuto.  I looked at that place too...but there was another wedding on my date...and they didn't have the space for our guests.

We ended up with the Boca Raton Marriott.  I wanted a hotel, since we had a TON of OOT people and just wanted them to have a good time, drink and walk to their rooms.  I was particular on a low price room block (I was successful) and we LOVED the idea of getting married outside at the fountain behind the hotel.  Best day of my life.

Lighthouse Point Yacht Club!  It's overlooking the intercoastal (which was a must for us), it's very private, the ceremony/cocktail hour is outside on 2 different patio areas overlooking the water, with a dock along the water, the price was right & SO much is included, and the wedding coordinator is FABULOUS!!!  need i say more!?!?!  :):):)   I'm so excited!!!  I think we are going to block off rooms at the Embassy Suites Deerfield Beach for the weekend, b/c it's close & it's right on the beach.

I chose Fisher Island because I wanted an outside ceremony space (preferably ocean views) but an amazing ballroom, and an intimate feel.  It was difficult to find venues that met with my specifications.  Though the ceremony is by the Banyan Tree, the cocktail space has ocean view, and I love the ballroom, plus you have to take a ferry to get to the venue (intimate feel). Hillcrest Golf and Country Club. Even though I promised myself no hotel or country club, I went for the country club place. When I walked into the HUGE room and met the WONDERFUL gentlemen in charge of food service and I was SOLD. (I didn't even look at prices first.) And the fact that I can get married under a HUGE Oak Tree on the golf course was priceless. Having a ceremony outside was a MUST for us.

Grove Isle Hotel & Spa! We fell in love with it right away, we wanted to get married with with ocean views and we also wanted a hotel. What I love about the Grove Isle is it's a small, intimate hotel so it was the perfect spot for us.

We Chose Coral Gables Womans Club because we liked that it had 2 ballrooms...One we are going to use for the ceremony and one for the reception...We like the Coral Gables area and intend to do our Wedding Pics all over town, including the Biltmore which we are staying for our wedding night :)

Chesapeake Beach Resort in Islamorada. We wanted to get married on the beach, and wanted our OOT guests (which is pretty much all of them except 2 people) to have a fun, relaxing vacation. Also, I got the idea in my head that I wanted to have a reception in a tiki hut, which we can have there!

The Hamlet Country Club in Delray.  We got engaged at the Morikami and originally looked into having our wedding there, but for various reasons we were reluctant to book it.  I didn't want a CC, but when I looked at the Hamlet, I was so impressed.  The Asian-influenced architecture incorporated everything I loved about the gardens at the Morikami.

Plus they saw creating an all-vegetarian menu (including Indian food) as an exciting challenge and not something to be overcome.  Their food is amazing, which helped make our decision that much easier.

Danay, I also loved Comber Hall.  We ended up needing something further north, but if not I loved that place.

Miami Beach Botanical Garden. (Ceremony at Sts Peter and Paul Catholic Church In Miami). My daughter and her fiance wanted an outdoor reception, but I was insistent on a backup plan for rain. This was the best option of the places they saw and it is the perfect size!. A few places they looked at had high food and beverage minimums which we could not meet due to the smaller size of their guest list.

The Miami Beach Resort & Spa. I knew I wanted a unique space, and I fell in love with the Starlight Ballroom. I knew I wanted an indoor, elegant wedding. I love the modern-mixed-with-vintage-miami vibe, the views, and the gorgeous dome ballroom where I will be holding the ceremony.

I booked Seagate Beach Club in Delray. My Fiance and i love the water and the relaxing sound of the beach, so we decided to get married on the beach & reception at their private beach club. My boss is a member there so we were sponsored and got a great discount.

Great choice Gabby.  We wanted to get married there but as you know 11-11-11 was already booked :(  My fiance really wanted to get married on that day.  So we end up picking Westchester Country Club.  As you know are wedding is on a Friday so we needed somewhere convient for our co-workers and friends.  We are getting married out side.  As you know it gets dark earlier in that time of the year.   Plus the price is right for what we actually got.  BTW I am so happy for you and Mike.  I can't wait to see all the pics.

We booked at Benvenuto also! FI and I went to a wedding there and we absolutely fell in love with the place! We were so impressed with the decor, service, food, and overall feel of the place, so when we got engaged it was a no-brainer of where we wanted our reception to be at! =)

Parkland Golf & Country Club ... I was 150% against hotels and country clubs because I wanted something unique and different but my mom kept bugging me to atleast go see Parkland gcc so she could get it off her mind. So it figures that we go and I completely fall in love with the place and the Event Coordinator there. I loved the ceremony spot because the venue looks like a Tuscan villa and there are also botanical gardens with turrets, bridges, waterfalls, etc so I'm sooo excited to get some amazing pics here.

Thanks nicole! we were actually on a waiting list for 11/11, she gave this couple a week to come up with the deposit, and they actually showed up on the last day with it.  I was so bummed but i didn't want a different venue so we changed our date. Westchester country club is beautiful, and the food is great as well.  My friend got married there a few years back and it was so nice! good luck and keep me updated!! <img src="http://cdn.cl9.vanillaforums.com/downloaded/ver1.0/content/scripts/tinymce/plugins/emotions/images/smiley-wink.gif" border="0" alt="Wink" title="Wink" />
