I really wanted this winter weather...now we just have rain. Bummer!!

I would have liked to have had enough to delay school. That's what I'm bummed about. Plus, we went to bed at 10:15 PM and it still never snowed in Corinth. Also, I couldn't fall asleep until midnight and still had to get up at 5 AM.

The snow last night was beautiful! I'm also a little bummed we didn't get a delay -- I woke up not feeling great, so an extra hour or so of sleep would have been awesome. I do NOT want snow days, though, because I don't want to make anything up.

I am glad we're finally getting a little winter weather, even if it is just rainy and cold.

H called up to his manager yesterday afternoon to ask what time he needed to be ready this morning, and the manager said the roads were so bad up there that he'd rather H stay in Dallas overnight and just drive up this morning, so one more evening with my hubby! Very nice.

And we're under the four-month mark for time until I get to move in with him.

YAY Amanda! That's exciting about being under the 4 month mark. We're going to be struggling with that, too, but I guess at this point I'm used to it.

My B&M is that my phone died yesterday for no known reason and still doesn't work. Going to have to go to the AT&T store at lunch. And I hate skipping meals.

Our alarm went off last night.

We have a thing on our window that will go off if anyone tries to open or break the window...it fell off and the alarm went off when it hit the ground. Also, I keep setting the alarm off when I let the dog out. I am bad at this whole security system thing.

Kathleen, I hate security systems. I just don't get them, and I figured between the schnauzer who thinks he's a pit bull, and the large breed puppy, we are okay withouth one.

Amanda, I absolutely loved talking to Andy Saturday night. Next time he is in town, we need to arrange for a married couples dinner or something, because he was so pleasant and I felt rushed and rude! And it's okay you guys ate the fruity pebbles lol. I left about 35 bags of them upstairs in our suite, along with all centerpieces. I did NOT want to haul that crap home.

So we were idiots and opened all our presents and cards Saturday night while we drank champagne. I may be spending a few days piecing together who got us what with the wrapped presents cause I didn't write it down, and unlike the cards with cash/gift cards, I didn't put them back with the gifts and just threw them in our card box. So far I have about 60% pieced together.

I'm paranoid and Copper is no guard dog. So it's a necessity for me.I just need to get in the habit of turning the alarm off and THEN letting copper out of his cage.

I really wish that we would have had a more significant 'snow' than we did. I guess that is the biggest problem with being a New Englander living in the south. I get so giddy when it snows!
I had such a blast with everyone on Saturday. Congrats again Wendi, you were a stunning bride!!

B&M continued... walked into the at&t store at lunch and they pulled the battery out, put it back in, and it worked like a charm. Glad they have such experts on staff for people like me.

I'm bummed I have to work nights all this week which means I get nothing done. But my MOH and I are going to my final venue choice to set the contract and do some BM dress shopping tomorrow. Here's hoping that works out!

My husband had flowers delivered to me for Valentine's day-- yay, right? But the florist had haphazardly thrown them in a vase, and so 1 of the roses was completely broken off (I found part of the stem and bud somewhere inside the rest of the "arrangement"), another was almost broken off and was bending over far on the side of the vase, another 2 of the roses were dead with discolored petals, and the greenery was snapped off. It was so sad!

On a funnier note, when I called customer service to complain, at one point the guy in India actually said to me "You should at least be happy that your husband sent you flowers." I mean, he had a point.

So I arrived to start tutoring at 7pm- the child I tutor won't be here until 8:30. Thanks for letting me know and wasting an hour and a half of my time. Awesome. I don't think I would care if I didn't have to drive for an hour to get here.

Also, weekends are NEVER long enough.
