Dissappointed/Ticked off update

So I posted yesterday that I was really bummed out that my grandmother probably won't come to my wedding.

My SM just called me and said that grandma called her b/c she finally sent the RSVP

card back as a decline but was feeling worse and worse about it. So she's told my SM that she's going to make every effort to come, even if it means she needs to take a taxi home after the ceremony or halfway through dinner.

I am so much happier now! It means a lot that my grandmother will make the effort to be there even if she can't be there for the whole night.

Oh what good news! Hopefully she will be able to at least make it through dinner and be there to help celebrate with your day!

aww, good!! I'm glad she's going to try and come! I saw all the drama on the post yesterday. I know you're happy she'll be there for at least the ceremony!!! We wish FI's grandparents could be there, but they are at least 6 hours from where we're getting married and aren't in good enough health to make the trip :-/ So yay for yours deciding to come!

I am really happy to hear that she is going to come for at least part of it. I was having a hard time understanding why she couldn't at least come for the ceremony.

I can understand being dissappointed.. I am still not sure if my Grandma is coming to my wedding.. but my grandma is almost 80 and not in great health I can understand if she doesnt come but shes the only reason I am having my ceremony where I am.. So I will be sad we will see what happens.
