AW: My dad is sweet
My dad sent me a text message last night to give him a call. I called him back and he asked me to dinner one night next week because both my mom and FI are OOT for work. He wanted some time to catch up and he has a suprise for me. I asked what assuming it was a "dad gift" meaning something practical like a first aid kit or fire extinguisher...both gifts he gave me when I first moved out on my own.
He bought me a director's chair for the wedding so I sit up higher when I'm having my make-up and hair done at their house. He said it will make a good photo-op. It just made me smile that he thought of something like that.
