So I just got off the phone with a cake place. We have a tasting set up for the 19th! If all goes well that day, we will have our cake baker that day too! Our date is available for them too. I'm glad I finally got that underway.
As I mentioned in the weekend updates thread, I finalized some details with our venue coordinator, including the menu. I also hammered out some details with the photographer.
Now, here are pictures, as I've promised. First, our invites. I know I said I wanted to embellish them, but it turns out I'm having a hard time finding the embellishments I had in mind. So, I might just leave the invites as is. But here they are, with the rsvp card in the second photo:

This is the box I want to keep the rings in. Not sure if I'll attach this to something the ring bearer will carry. I'm still working that out. You can also see the design on the side of my ring:
