so the NJ law says that you have up to 6 months prior to apply for your license but for some reason all the towns near me says you acn't apply until 30 days prior. wtf i just want to get it done!

    You can apply six months in advance but once you apply it expires 30 days from then.  That is why most of the towns say to wait because if your wedding date is past the 30 days then it will expire and you will have to pay to apply for a new one.  Good Luck!

    I feel your aggrivation.  You should be able to APPLY now, and just wait until within 30 days to pick up the actual License paperwork.  Oh well, what can you do if they're telling you no?

    so since im getting married on the 28th of next month i can go the 28th of this month to get it?

    I think we applied more than 30 days out... but they told us not to come and get it until a couple weeks before (I got mine the week of).  When I picked it up, they dated it then, so it would be valid 30 days from when I picked it up...

    Yes.  But FI and I just waited to even apply.  Our wedding is Aug 6th, we applied last Monday (7/19) and I picked it up Friday (7/23).  Its valid through Aug 22nd.
