Update to p*ssy coworker.... finally shows up today after being out all last week (10 days since accident) and is miraculously walking fine and was feeling good enough to walk across the street to get some coffee. He's so lucky we have such a passive boss, because if I were in charge he'd be in big trouble.

Good morning girls! Happy Valentine's Day! Unfortunately, DH is not feeling well.

he called out of work today and he's home. idk what's wrong, his stomach is killing him. I hope he feels better... my mom is making a Valentine's dinner for all of us and tomorrow I'm going to make nice dinner for DH so he better feel better lol.

So, I'm home now. Our computers are down at work and we can't do anything without them. It made no sense for me to take the hour long drive to the main office, since I'd have to leave early to pick dd up from daycare, so I opted to go home and miss a day of work.

I found out this weekend that my fulltime job, which was a contract/temp position is ending Friday.

I am going back to waitressing fulltime but none the less I am currently in panic mode.

No. He "worked remotely" from his couch last week so he didn't take any sick time. I just think its BS to take a whole week off, then show up perfectly fine, no limp or anything.

haha, mana. I wish. The systems were down before I got there this morning. I think it was probably an easy fix... I.E. resetting the wireless router... but my boss said to head out. I'm not complaining. Granted, I don't get paid for today. But- I needed a day to rest without DD running around. It may help me get that extra 2% better. Besides- now I can sit around and watch Enchanted without FI complaining.

I'm putting the finishing touches on the hangers for the dresses.

Good Morning Everyone! Hope Valentine's Day is great for everyone.. I woke up to two cards, one from my DH and one from Lloyd, my furry Valentine

I wont be seeing my DH today except for when I crawl into bed after work tonight around 1am. I had to laugh this morning because what most of you dont know is my DH is AWFUL at keeping SURPRISES.... He texts me this am stating "I'm taking you to go get a manicure and pedicure. That's my Valentine's gift to you. Flowers will come when we get into the house.. they will be a waste now.." I just loled... He is so funny! He is right though... the flowers would just be hidden among the zillion boxes, tape, etc in our apt right now...

Hil - wow really? Wuss. This is why women give birth. I came into work after my 2009 car accident still in an arm sling and had to sit behind my intern and dication how to run the programs... THAT was fun!

Paprika - haha ok, I believe you didn't crash the computers. I hope you get that 2% back! I'm sure Enchanted will help. My "I'm sick" movie is Mulan from disney. It makes me happy.

I didn't take any time off after my accident. I even wanted to go back to work the same day so I could put my show together, but Gzilla wouldn't let me. I may or may not have been screaming at him outside of Deerfield hot dogs... with his mom right there... I'm amazed that woman still likes me after that day. But.. I was just in an accident, so I wasn't exactly thinking clearly. I went to the station the following day and did my show.
