Reception and Ceremony Help!

Hello!  My fiancee and I are planning a destination wedding to either Tampa/St Pete/Cleawater area or the Keys.

We aren't picky on the area but it has to be on a beach.   We are looking for a beach ceremony and reception to be held at the same location.  Everyone is out of town so we are hoping to be near or at somewhere our guests can stay.

We are only in the beginning stages and won't be visiting the area for a few months but I couldnt wait to get started!

Thanks!

Hi! Congrats! I don't know about Tampa, but some places you can check out in the Keys are Cheeca Lodge and Pierre's both on Islamorada or Casa Marina in Key West. For more info on the Keys, try posting on the South Florida board.

Good luck with all your planning!

Ditto SIRATA on St. Pete Beach - it's beautiful and affordable, and the hotel management are very good.  I hosted a state convention there, and everything was perfect.

    Lovers Key State Park
My event was just there last Saturday. They have an amazing Gazebo right on the beach where we held the reception. The Gazebo is 40 feet wide and can easily fit over 100 people. It was stunning. They do a lot of wedding there. It is just outside of Ft. Myers Beach. First pic is in the Gazebo and second is right in front of the ceremony location (which was 50 feet in front of the Gazebo on the sand)

Ft. De Soto, Anna Maria Island, or St. Armands Circle are all beautiful beaches
